Jasmine Organizers Call for Rallies Every Sunday

In an open letter to the National People’s Congress, the organizers of the “Jasmine Rallies” call on the people to gather every Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in each of the designated places in 13 Chinese cities to continue to push for an end to corruption, an independent judiciary, and a government supervised by the people. The letter urges people to participate in an act of “non-violent non-cooperation” by “strolling, watching, or pretending to pass by.”
